Q: How much does a wedding dress cost?
A: Gowns at Savvi are much lesser expensive than you might think. Our large selection of wedding gowns are sold for between $500 - $2100. We offer the best prices in all of the Triangle and the absolute lowest the designer allows for real designer gowns. You benefit by high-quality, well-made fabrics and designs, all the while receiving personalized attention.
We also offer couture wedding gowns and they are priced between $1700 - $2800.
Plus, there are personal customizations available that ensure your dream dress is one of a kind.
With our help you can be assured that you will have a wide range to choose from in a comfortable, convenient and welcoming store.
Q: Do I need to make an appointment and how long is an appointment?
A: Yes, we would like you to make an appointment. Because of the very personalized way we care for our brides, we request appointments when you are ready to shop for your gown. Contact us online or call 919-783-8911 to schedule your appointment.
Q: What size are your wedding gowns?
A: We fit real brides in real sizes and our samples are sized from size 4-28.
Q: Do you rent wedding gowns?
A: No. We find that most often this question arises because we’ve found some clients believe with such a nice store and over the top service they cannot afford a dress purchase from us. But this simply isn't so. Our bridesmaids gowns are priced between $115 - $210. And you can get a nice wedding gown for under $500. We do however rent tuxedos and suits very affordably and it's easy to get your out of town attendants measured.
Q: How much does it cost to rent a tuxedo?
A: Our tuxedos include the jacket, pants, formal shirt, formal vest and tie or long tie. Complete tuxedo packages run from $115 - $189.
Q: How long does it take to get a dress?
A: A wedding dress takes about 3 months. With that being said, some of the most popular sizes and styles are available more quickly. Customizations will take longer. You can be comfortable knowing that your Savvi stylist will provide you with all the details you need about your wedding dress. If you're having wedding portraits taken in advance, be sure to factor that into when you order your dress.
A bridesmaids dress takes between 2-3 months.
Q: Do you offer alterations in store?
A: No, but we can provide you with a list of local professionals whom have provided our brides with excellent service in the past.
Q: What are your business hours?
A: Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm; Saturday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. We are closed on Sunday.
Q: I don’t like people or crowds and would like to visit when you are least busy. When is a good day?
A: Tuesday afternoons and Wednesdays are the best time to avoid crowds.
Q: What should I expect during a wedding gown appointment? What should I bring?
A: Bring with you: well fitted, complete undergarments, shoes the height you will be wearing for your wedding day, and champagne if you like.
We encourage you to bring 2 or 3 of your most trusted family or friends whose feedback means the most to you. Wedding gown shopping is fun and you'll be in a comfortable space assigned to a stylist that is well versed on styling different shapes and sizes and whom considers your entire wedding day vision.
Q: Do you sell bride accessories?
A: Yes, we have a wide selection of veils, headpieces and earrings to make certain your wedding dress is beautifully accessorized and you don’t have to run all over town.
Q: Do you offer wedding dress cleaning or preservation? How much does it cost?
A: Yes, it’s very easy. Bring your gown to us and you can rest assured it will be cleaned and preserved and returned to you at your home in a sealed preservation chest.
We offer a pre-wedding special – a great shower gift – when purchased anytime 14 days prior to the wedding for only $175.00. You have up to 12 months after the wedding to take advantage of our cleaning and preservation special. Hurry! Time flies.
