Well-equipped with a social work degree, Denise owns the most-successful independently owned bridal and formalwear store in North Carolina. She knows her business is both social & fun to work. After growing up in a small town in Minnesota, Denise found her way into a part time job in Raleigh 20 years ago selling and renting tuxedos and suits for a new, small business. Denise found out that she was the very best at what she did and greatly enjoyed it.
Fast forward, Denise purchased Savvi and expanded the store to offer designer wedding gowns, bridesmaid gowns and prom gowns. Now in her third, larger location in Raleigh's Pleasant Valley Promenade at 6220 Glenwood Avenue, the award-winning business has had great success with the help of her great staff, who have a combined experience of 27 years. Seasonally, Savvi Prom – with locations in area malls – offers a curated selection of designer prom gowns straight from the New York runway.
