We’re Back From Bridal Fashion Week–Here’s What We Found

Do you ever wonder where all of these gorgeous gowns come from? Well, every year Denise, the owner of Savvi Bridal, sets off for Chicago to attend Bridal Fashion Week and the Chicago Bridal Market. This is where all of your favorite bridal designers showcase their latest collections in exclusive runway shows and exhibits. Then Denise has the difficult job of sifting through all the pretty (and there’s a lot of pretty) to bring you the best of the best back to Savvi Bridal. And we can’t wait to show you what she found this year! The new gowns will start arriving in-store in January of 2024, but here’s a little sneak peek of what to expect…

Our brides deserve the best, so Denise gets up close and personal with every dress we carry.

Take the Plunge

Necklines are taking a plunge! Almost every designer featured multiple versions of a plunging neckline. From off-the-shoulder lace bodices to structured ball gowns there are so many new ways to incorporate this trend into your wedding day look. We especially love the gravity-defying strapless bodices!

3-D Details

We saw a lot of lace this season, which we love. But the thing that really set this year’s fashions apart were the textural 3-D details. Whether you want to go bold with a gown that has texture all over or just want a few petals to accent the bodice or train here and there, you really can’t go wrong. Also, be on the lookout for 3-D petals and embroidery on veils.

Just look at these details!

Modern Corsetry

Corsets were BIG this season, but these aren’t your grandma’s corsets. From full bra-top corsets complete with underwire and push-up cups to mere insinuations of boning under a refined lace bodice, every collection we saw really embraced this trend. The best part? These modern takes on the traditional “corset” give you all of the support while still giving you enough stretch and freedom to break it down on the dancefloor!

Love at first sight? There’s so much more and we can’t wait to show you! Make sure you set up your 2024 appointment now before they book up.
